Purpose Statement

Empowering associations to excellence

Community Association Consulting Services

Working with and living in Homeowners Associations (HOAs) can be challenging and often success is hard to measure and elusive. Association Consulting Group believes that HOA governance determines the effectiveness, sustainability and successful outcomes for communities.

Our purpose is to provide advisory, educational and expert testimony services to HOA boards of directors, professional service providers, educational associations, legal firms and land developers to make a positive impact in HOA communities nationwide.

Non-Profit Association Consulting Services

Non-profit associations and organizations have unique compliance and accountability standards.

Individuals who donate their time, treasure and resources deserve board’s that take their governance standards seriously.

Association Consulting Group provides advisory and facilitating services that can be implemented in routine governance, strategic planning and board education and orientation.

Giving Back

In October 2011, our daughter, Ashley Kay Cligny was diagnosed with an inoperable glioblastoma brain tumor. She passed away in April of 2013 after a courageous battle.

Ashley was a college athlete and passionate about health, nutrition, people and the environment. In Ashley’s honor we have created the Ashley Kay Cligny Charitable Fund.

Although we can’t bring Ashley back and feel her loss daily, we can make sure her passions and zest for life are fulfilled by our contributions to her charitable fund.

For more information about the fund and grant opportunities please email us.

Fees and Ethical Standards

Having attended thousands of board meetings, we know that communities are groups of people living together in one place with common interests, values and ownership. At our core we believe in the fair treatment of people with adherence to the highest ethical standards. The fee structure for our professional services creates value for our clients based on our professional experience and subject matter knowledge.

We also provide our clients the safety and security of having both general liability and professional liability insurance. We subscribe and are signatory to the codes of ethical standards of both the Community Association Institute (CAI) and the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) as well as meeting the requirements of Business and Professional Codes.
